The Best Subscription boxes for Toddlers and Preschoolers!

Being at home with your toddler all day can be….boring. Yep, I said it. Of course, we love our little ones…but playing with the same toys and listening to the same songs can get old. That’s why I LOVE subscription boxes for toddlers and preschoolers! I love receiving a new subscription box each month…whether it be toys, crafts, or sensory kits! It’s my guarantee that something new is coming to break the monotony.

We subscribe to a few. Here are the ones we consider to be the subscription boxes for toddlers and preschoolers!

1. Our Teaching Tots Preschool Box!

This subscription box is by far our favorite for older toddlers and preschoolers! Each box comes with 14 themed activities that are prepped and ready to go! They make you look like a Pinterest mom with virtually zero prep! We love these because they hold us accountable. Each box is designed to develop math, language, sensory, and motor skills. I know that if I do the activities included in these boxes, I’m helping my toddler learn and have fun!

I also love that each box comes with a sensory item to create a sensory box! My toddler LOVES sensory bins, so having a new one each month keeps her super interested and develops her independent play!

2. Lovevery: Toy Subscription Box

We LOVE our Lovevery boxes. This is a great subscription if you’re looking for TOYS. These are quality toys that are loosely aligned with Montessori principles. We love these because they truly are age appropriate toys that your kids will be interested in. I also love that these subscription boxes are made for babies and toddlers. As of now, they only offer subscriptions up to 36 months…but hopefully they’ll continue to add to their subscription. I suggest ordering based off your kids age and not what looks “cool” to you. Every time I think a certain toy looks “cool” and another one looks “uncool”….my toddler plays with the “uncool” one! We play with the toys and use the toys and books in other activities. Here’s an activity I created to go along with one of the books.

3. Kiwi Crates: Craft Subscription Box

We recently subscribed to KiwiCo and we have been very impressed. I decided to subscribe during their Black Friday sales because I have heard that’s when you can get the subscription the cheapest per box…and honestly, I’m hooked! These crates are themed and usually come with a craftivity on theme. Last month, we got a mail themed box that included a mail bag, felt envelopes, crayons, and tracing/cutting papers. I will say, my toddler spends the least time with the items in these boxes, but she’s very engaged while she’s interacting with these boxes. I think these boxes are perfect if you need a weekend or rainy day activity for your toddler, but they’re not going to fill your entire month with activities like the Teaching Tots box will. If you subscribe to a box, we’d love to hear which box and why it’s your favorite!
