St Patrick’s Day is approaching quickly so I have put together a list of our favorite St Patrick’s Day preschool activities.
St. Patrick’s Day Pattern Activities:
We had so much fun playing with patterns during Valentine’s Day (here) that we’re back at it again. I have 2 pattern St Patrick’s Day preschool activities to share with you!
This is the perfect St. Patricks Day activity for preschoolers! There are so many ways to modify this activity. You can have your younger toddlers match the picture cards to the pattern cards while your preschoolers can complete the patterns. I also love how easy it is to create a DIY Preschool Busy Bag with this set!
This St. Patrick’s Day Pattern activity is another winner! We recently got rainbow mini erasers so we like to use those with this pattern activity!
Festive Tracing Activities for toddlers and preschoolers:
My toddler loved tracing the at Valentine’s Day (here), so we decided to do it again for St. Patrick’s Day! This is another great activity because of how adaptable it is! Toddlers can practice tracing the lines while preschoolers can cut on the lines. I also LOVE, LOVE, LOVE that this is also a counting activity! Don’t all preschoolers love counting activities?
St. Patrick’s Day Counting Activities for Preschoolers:
Counting activities are definitely a favorite at our house…and this one did not disappoint! I love how easily this one can be used in a sensory bin too! I bought some coins and pots of gold from the Dollar tree to pair with these cards, green rice, and pom poms. Such a fun sensory bin and counting activity for my preschooler!

St. Patrick’s Day Fine Motor Activity :
When I need a moment to myself to enjoy my coffee while it’s hot, I use dot sticker activities. I LOVE these activities because they promote fine motor skills and increase focus! My toddler will literally sit still until her stickers are gone and I LOVE IT! We also use dot markers sometimes instead which is a fun change up.
I also love the way these look when finished. Such a cute St. Patrick’s Day artwork!
Color Sorting Activities for Preschoolers and toddlers:
My toddler is obsessed with rainbows so this color sort was a lot of fun! I think it would be super cute to pair with a rainbow rice sensory bin as well! You could hide the rainbows in the rice and sort them once they’re found! (Ok, I’ve convinced myself! I’ll add a picture once we pair this activity with our rainbow rice sensory bins!)
Alright, there you have it! Our 5 favorite St. Patrick’s Day preschool activities! We’d love to see what activities you come up with for your toddler or preschooler this St. Patrick’s Day!
